Rigid, food-grade PVC — the same broad family of material used for potable-water piping, chosen because it's inert, tasteless, easy to clean, and holds its shape under load. More on the material and its environmental profile on our Sustainability page.
The Standard is 24 inches with a 1-inch bore, which clears a typical four-to-six-person pile. If your puddles run deeper, buy a multi-pack or contact us about longer configurations. When in doubt, the 24-inch works for the large majority of cuddlers.
On the Standard, either end — it's symmetric, so just pick one and keep the other above the pile. On the Deluxe, the mouthpiece is the short section below the 45° bend; the long straight section is the intake and should point up to the surface.
Get the Standard if you sit up or lie on your side in the pile. Get the Deluxe if you tend to end up face-down and want to rest your head — the angled mouthpiece is much more comfortable in that position. Full comparison on the Deluxe page.
Rinse with warm soapy water and let it air-dry, or run it through the top rack of the dishwasher. Because the material is smooth and non-porous it cleans easily and doesn't hold odors or taste.
Please don't share without cleaning first — it's a mouthpiece. For groups, the sensible move is one per person; that's what our multi-packs are for.
No. It's designed for dry cuddle piles only. It is not a diving or swimming snorkel and not a flotation device, and it should never be used in or under water.
Standard shipping is free on orders over $50 and typically arrives within 3–7 business days. Unused items can be returned within 30 days for a full refund. Used snorkels can't be returned for hygiene reasons, but if yours arrives damaged or faulty we'll replace it.
